Powder coating

n our powder coating facility, we paint parts that we have manufacturer as well as we do fully contract work on customers parts.

The powder coating is done to different corrosion classes. In a very simplified way it could be discribed as below.

Class             Process step

C1-2             Wash or blasting and top coat of paint

C3-4             Wash or blasting and primer and topcoat of paint  

C5                Electroplating, soft blasting and topcoat of paint. 

Primer thickness approx. 50*um, Topcoat of paint approx. 40-100* um, although it will vary depending on colour. Colour and paint will be used according to customers specification.
